As of May 2023, the broker (fx-elitetrader.io) has ceased operations. But you can read the article to avoid falling for similar scammers.

FX EliteTrader Regulation

FX Elite Trader is allegedly based out of the Netherlands. This would suggest that it should be regulated under the AMF. This is not true. We don’t know who the owner is, as the legal documents have left the company name ambiguous. The governing law of the company has not been mentioned and, as it is not AMF-regulated you will not be entitled to any compensation funds. FX Elite Trader will scam you. We don’t recommend that.

Fund Withdrawal Problems with FX Elite Trader Broker

FX Elite Trader, as we have already explained, is an anonymous trading company. Although it claims that they have been in business since 2019, we could not find any evidence to support this claim. Numerous clients have complained about withdrawal problems, claiming that their funds are being frozen after they request the money back. The brokerage isn’t regulated so clients have no complaints.

FX EliteTrader Trading Software

Clients who have an FX Elite Trade broker account can choose between an MT5 or a proprietary Web trader. Both can be used on desktop computers, while MT5 is only available in an Android mobile version. We don’t know why. We don’t know.

The Web trader looks solid with solid indicators and charts. It cannot be compared with MetaTrader, which allows EAs and social trading. Software that isn’t regulated doesn’t have much value. You don’t know what you are getting into, because basic trading conditions like minimum deposit and leverage aren’t disclosed. This is your queue to get out.

FX Elite Trader Trading Scam

FX Elite Trader focuses primarily on clients from the UK and Belgium. There are many victims all over the world, as the broker is not regulated and does not have any restrictions. You will lose everything if you get involved with this scam company.

Chargeback Is Your Solution!

A chargeback is the retroactive cancellation and refund of a charge made using your credit card, wire transfer or some other payment methods.

By putting together a compelling chargeback strategy from beginning to end, victims of online fraud have a relatively high probability of recovering some of all of their funds lost.

However, using a trustworthy service such as MyChargeBack is critical in this endeavour as a typical chargeback process can often be complex and drawn out without the right guidance.
