Is DecodeGlobal Regulated by Several Organizations?

Decode Global, an obvious offshore provider, is mentioned above. It is also unregulated making it extremely dangerous to do business with. The financial fraudster claims to be based in Vanuatu, Oceania. Decode Global Ltd. is listed in the local Financial Services Commission database. Singapore is the phone number (+65).

Although the company is registered in Vanuatu it does not necessarily mean that they are trustworthy. Offshore brokers generally don’t follow strict rules. The Vanuatu regulator doesn’t care about client protection.

Why is trading on a licensed broker’s platform preferable?

However, ASIC, the regulator for Australia, requires brokers to meet certain criteria. Each broker must have a minimum of AUD 1,000,000 in operating capital at all times. Clients must also be provided with a segregated bank account as well as negative balance protection.

It sounds great, right? It’s not so if you trust an offshore broker like Decode Global.

Is Decode Global a legitimate broker or a fraud?

Decode Global is a fraud broker that offers Forex and CFDs trading. This con artist targets traders from Australia, Germany and Canada.

MetaTrader 4 and 5: Decode Global Offers MetaTrader Online Trading Platform

Decode Global claims that it offers two of the most powerful trading software available – Meta Trader 4 (or Meta Trader 5). This was something we were skeptical about, but it appears to be a valid claim. It appears that the download files contain a type of software which is neither MT4 or MT5.

The broker was also unable to provide a demo account that would allow us to access the trading platform. We recommend that you stay clear of Decode Global.

Trade on the Mobile App

Decode Global claims to offer traders a mobile version its platform. Another clever trick used by the fraudster. Mobile platforms can be used for quick intervention, but are not as efficient as desktop versions. We don’t recommend that you install the mobile platform due to the fraud of the broker.

Desktop Version

The desktop versions of the program are really suspect. They are not as they seem. To attract victims, offshore scammers such as this one use the names MT4 or MT5. This fake platform was created and maintained by an unidentified publisher. It is therefore not trustworthy for depositing or trading.

What can be traded?

Decode Global claims to offer only three options when it comes trading assets

  • Forex pairs – EUR, USD and JPY spread 0 pip, 35 currency pairs
  • Indices – US, Germany & China, max leverage 1:100, spread 0 pips, over 10 indices;
  • Commodities – gold, silver, crude oil, etc. leverage 1:500, spread 0 pips.

Stocks are not allowed What about crypto? Decode Global, it was disappointing. The broker was still vague about the instruments. The only way to find out more is to open a live account. However, that’s not the best thing you can do.

Decode Global – Countries Of Service

We conducted extensive research to find out the location of this scammer. Its offshore nature makes it a troublesome scammer. The trading conditions it offers is not better. Beware if you live in one of these countries. There are strict rules that each country’s regulators follow. This clown is not a licensed broker.

  • Germany;
  • Canada;
  • Australia;
  • UK;
  • US.

About Spreads, Leverage and Fees

The unfavorable spread/commission rate has been addressed in the account types section. Decode Global’s maximum leverage is 1:100 Forex and 1:500 for all other markets. Wow! That’s a very high level even for an offshore provider.

To prevent huge losses, top regulators limit leverage to 1:30 FX major pairs retail clients. Despite this, traders seem to still lose. Imagine the chaos that could ensue at higher levels.

High Minimum Deposit and Withdrawal Conditions

Although it isn’t unusual, the minimum deposit required is $100. However, it is still not worth taking a chance with this shady provider. Decode Global claims it accepts wire transfer, US Tether, and Chinese UnionPay as payment methods. Are there any credit cards? Strange. It is claimed that there are no fees.

It is not surprising that the broker will accept a cryptocurrency asset. Scammers love crypto because they can remain anonymous. This should not be taken lightly.

Chargeback Is Your Solution!

A chargeback is the retroactive cancellation and refund of a charge made using your credit card, wire transfer or some other payment methods.

By putting together a compelling chargeback strategy from beginning to end, victims of online fraud have a relatively high probability of recovering some of all of their funds lost.

However, using a trustworthy service such as MyChargeBack is critical in this endeavour as a typical chargeback process can often be complex and drawn out without the right guidance.
