Is VirtuFinance a Scam Broker?

VirtuFinance greets us by claiming that it is a leading brand in international forex for over a quarter century.

We had never heard of VirtuFinance, so we did some fact-checking. We discovered that VirtuFinance was a scam online targeting people with little knowledge and experience in financial markets.

VirtuFinance Regulation

Forex brokers that are legitimate provide detailed and clear information about their legal entities, including where they are located, the licences it holds, and who oversees them. If these details are not provided or presented in a proper manner, it is a sign that you are dealing with a scammer.

VirtuFinance doesn’t provide any contact information or addresses for regulatory license information.

On the homepage of the website, it states that Davy Ltd is the company behind the brand.

However, the Customer Agreement doesn’t mention this name or any other legal entity. We don’t know who we are dealing.

The document states that the applicable laws are those in England. However, it also states that the broker will not accept UK clients.

Is VirtuFinance an Authorized Broker?

The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority database does not contain any information about Davy Ltd or VirtuFinance. VirtuFinance is not an authorized broker located in England.

It is important to ensure that you invest your money through a licensed intermediary before investing in financial instruments.

Choose only trustworthy and reliable brokers. You can read about the best ones in our article Best online brokers in 2023.

VirtuFinance Trading Assets

VirtuFinance claims that it offers trading in all major asset classes. However, the website doesn’t provide any detailed information about trading conditions.

Visit the website of a licensed broker to find different types of trading accounts that are suitable for different investors. You will also find detailed descriptions of trading parameters such as minimum deposit, order execution methods, leverage, spreads, commissions and other financial instruments.

VirtuFinance: Maximum Leverage, Deposit and Withdrawal

VirtuFinance claims it can offer leverage up to 1:500. This is in contradiction to its claims that it is based outside the UK.

Like EU regulators, the FCA limits leverage to 1:30 when trading major currency pairs, and lower for volatile assets.

Leverage that is high can lead to greater profits, but it also increases the chance of losing a lot of money. Retail traders are therefore restricted by all the major regulators.

Every day new scam brokers and trading bots appear on the web with only one goal – to steal your money. We have already exposed some of them, for example – CED Capital Limited, MagnetFX, FXrally.

VirtuFinance claims that it allows withdrawals and deposits with all major payment methods. However, you can only provide your credit card information to an unidentified payment processor in the deposit menu.

Most legitimate brokers offer their clients transparent payment options, such as bank transfer or established e-wallets like PayPal, Skrill and Neteller.

VirtuFinance does not provide information about transaction fees. However, you will be surprised by large hidden fees.

VirtuFinance doesn’t have a minimum deposit requirement. However, it is clear that trading with a licensed broker would be better. Many established brands offer micro accounts with very low minimum deposits.

Chargeback Is Your Solution!

A chargeback is the retroactive cancellation and refund of a charge made using your credit card, wire transfer or some other payment methods.

By putting together a compelling chargeback strategy from beginning to end, victims of online fraud have a relatively high probability of recovering some of all of their funds lost.

However, using a trustworthy service such as MyChargeBack is critical in this endeavour as a typical chargeback process can often be complex and drawn out without the right guidance.
