Is Berry Markets a Scam Broker?

You won’t find Berry Markets regulation with any authority. Berry Markets LLC was the owner of the firm and was registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It entered the FSA Register in October 2022. FSA is a list of all registered firms in the country. FSA does not regulate the Forex market and it doesn’t guarantee withdrawals.

We have therefore searched among Tier 1 regulators like ASIC, CONSOB, FCA and ASIC for a license. As is often the case for offshore companies, our search did not yield any results.

The company also solicits investors from the US, EU and other countries but does not follow any regulatory rules. According to the official watchdog, ESMA, leverage in the US is restricted to 1:50, while it is in the EU limited to 1:30. Berry Markets brokers are available here, offering up to 1:500.

We recommend that you avoid trading here if you are going to do so.

Berry Markets Trading Assets

Berry Markets offers trading in four asset classes:

  • Currency pairs: EUR/USD, GBP/NOK, AUD/SEK;
  • Commodities: gold, silver, crude oil;
  • Indices: AU200, BE20, IBEX35;
  • Shares: Alibaba, Netflix, Amazon.

The firm does not offer crypto trading, oddly enough. It’s one the most sought-after assets of today, so we find it somewhat disappointing. This is a major issue, as well as a lack license.

Every day new scam brokers and trading bots appear on the web with only one goal – to steal your money. We have already exposed some of them, for example – Tolentino, DexInvesting, Eibank.

The lack of important information is another problem. Berry Markets’ withdrawal wasn’t even mentioned on their site. The company also didn’t offer viable payment options. We are alert whenever we see a company like this.

Scammers often ask for money via cryptocurrency, since these transactions are almost impossible to trace and not subject to chargebacks. There are steps you can take, but they require the help of professionals.

Choose only trustworthy and reliable brokers. You can read about the best ones in our article Best online brokers in 2023.

Chargeback Is Your Solution!

A chargeback is the retroactive cancellation and refund of a charge made using your credit card, wire transfer or some other payment methods.

By putting together a compelling chargeback strategy from beginning to end, victims of online fraud have a relatively high probability of recovering some of all of their funds lost.

However, using a trustworthy service such as MyChargeBack is critical in this endeavour as a typical chargeback process can often be complex and drawn out without the right guidance.
