Are Blink Trades Scam Brokers Without a License?

Blink Trades is located in SVG, an off-shore domain that has been rife with thieves and scammers. Because of its lack of tax law and lax laws, this island is very popular with wrongdoers.

SVG’s Financial Services Authority has made a specific statement or warning about the Blink Trades case. The regulator states on its website that forex trading brokerage activities are not permitted in St. Vincent and Grenadines.

Blink Trades is therefore unlicensed and potentially dangerous. We recommend that you avoid brokers with unlicensed licenses and instead choose licensed brokers, preferably issued either by the FCA or BaFin, CONSOB or FINMA, ASIC etc.

It is a safe bet to work with brokers that fall under the supervision of the European Securities and Markets Authority.

Blink Trades is the trading name for an offshore SVG-based company. Since December 2021, this broker has been involved in fraud, mainly targeting traders from Brazil, Italy, and the United Kingdom.

Broker Blink Trades Pretends to Be Regulated

Blink Trades’ top reputation is a fabrication. The broker did not include a physical address. He only mentioned SVG as its base.

A broker must have a physical office in the country it operates. A company that isn’t licensed in a country to offer services will be considered illegal.

Every day new scam brokers and trading bots appear on the web with only one goal – to steal your money. We have already exposed some of them, for example – FKD, Trade Capitol, Ronghui

Difference Between Blink Trades’ Trading Accounts

Two trading accounts are offered by Blink Trades:

  • Standard – min. Opening of 200$
  • Premium – min. Opening of 2,000$.

Maximum leverage for both accounts: 1:500. This is a very high limit, and significantly more than the FCA or ESMA legal restrictions (1:30 for retail clients).

These high caps are only available through offshore brokers. Extremely high leverage can be dangerous. Clients can suffer huge losses, so this restriction is necessary.

PAMM Accounts

Blink Trades also offered PAMM accounts. The acronym stands for “percentage allocation management module”. You, the investor, will open an account and then fund it.

One or more managers may be assigned to the account, and they will trade with that capital. You and they will split the profits if they make profit. It could prove disastrous if you allow unregulated brokers to use your funds.

Chargeback Is Your Solution!

A chargeback is the retroactive cancellation and refund of a charge made using your credit card, wire transfer or some other payment methods.

By putting together a compelling chargeback strategy from beginning to end, victims of online fraud have a relatively high probability of recovering some of all of their funds lost.

However, using a trustworthy service such as MyChargeBack is critical in this endeavour as a typical chargeback process can often be complex and drawn out without the right guidance.
