QuoMarkets Is Not a Regulated Broker?

QuoMarkets, the trading name for DVenture Markets Limited is registered with the Financial Services Authority in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

It’s bad. SVG is an offshore domain that is controversial because the FSA stated explicitly on its website, that Forex trading in this domain is not regulated. QuoMarkets’ regulation is therefore fake.

QuoMarkets is not a safe place to put your money. Clients of offshore brokers who are not licensed often have withdrawal problems, and we’re sure QuoMarkets does too.

You should instead find a broker who is licensed by Tier 1 agencies such as FCA, ASIC or CNMV. If you are from the US, ensure that your broker is registered with both the CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission) and the NFA.

QuoMarkets, an offshore broker based in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, does not have a Forex trading licence. This broker tried to scam traders in the Netherlands, Germany and Poland.

You’ll see on QuoMarkets website that the broker has been registered with SVG FSA, and you’ll also find the registration number of the company. This is a false claim made to boost QuoMarkets reputation.

QuoMarkets has a bad reputation, so do not fall into this trap. Check your broker’s status for regulatory compliance before you invest to trade.

QuoMarkets Reviews

QuoMarkets has received some complaints. Even traders know that the broker is unregulated, which can have disastrous consequences. Trading is a risky business, so having to worry about whether you’ll get scammed is not something you want.

When QuoMarkets contacted me, they said that their company wants to make investment easy for everyone… I will not trade here because they don’t have any regulatory licenses. I also advise everyone to be vigilant when choosing a forex broker.

QuoMarkets Trading Accounts Types

QuoMarkets offers two different account types:

  • Standard: 5$, spreads as low as 0.6 pips, zero commissions;
  • Raw: 5$, spreads as low as 0.0 pips, commissions 3 $ per lot.

QuoMarkets-Accounts

Each of these offer an Islamic version, swap-free and a maximum leverage of 1 to 500. This level of leverage is extremely dangerous and can lead to huge losses. Onshore regulators like ESMA or the FCA have imposed a 1:30 limit for retail clients.

Brokers park claims that it offers negative balance protection on each of these accounts types, but we’re not keen to test this out with actual money.

Chargeback Is Your Solution!

A chargeback is the retroactive cancellation and refund of a charge made using your credit card, wire transfer or some other payment methods.

By putting together a compelling chargeback strategy from beginning to end, victims of online fraud have a relatively high probability of recovering some of all of their funds lost.

However, using a trustworthy service such as MyChargeBack is critical in this endeavour as a typical chargeback process can often be complex and drawn out without the right guidance.
