Is TBanque Scam?
Not at all. Ton Investment Group LLC, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) is the owner of TBanque. It operates under a very relaxed jurisdiction. SVG’s regulator, the Financial Services Authority (FSA), doesn’t issue Forex licenses.
TBanque is therefore not regulated to offer FX services. The broker who is not licensed to provide FX services could be prosecuted in countries like Australia, Cyprus, and the UK.
The alleged corporate branches around the globe are just a ruse in order to make the entire scheme appear more legitimate.
TBanque, an offshore provider based out of Saint Vincent and Grenadines, offers Forex, crypto trading and CFD trading. This broker is a scam and targets traders from France, Portugal, and Germany.
Why is it safer to choose licensed brokers?
After all that has been said, we believe that TBanque poses a high risk. You’re better off looking for a broker who proudly displays a valid license from top-tier regulators like the FCA, CySEC and ASIC.
We can assure you that your funds will be safe and secure in a Tier 1 bank account. Negative balance protection will save you in the event that the market moves quickly against you. A leverage restriction of 1:30 is in effect to protect against huge losses.
If they need to file for bankruptcy, brokers in the UK or EU will provide coverage with 85,000 GBP or 20,000 EUR.
What platforms does TBanque offer? Trade Software
We thought TBanque might have a nice trading platform, considering all the fancy stuff on the website. We only found information about WebTrader. We were unable to verify the platform because there was no demo account and the broker kept sending us broken links.
WebTrader, however, is a very poor platform. WebTrader only provides basic charts and indicators. This platform is not recommended for beginners. It is not something we recommend.
The best choice for a great trading experience is the famous, cutting-edge Meta Trader platform. TBanque does not offer them.
Trader’s reviews of TBanque
Trustpilot had 44 reviews of TBanque at the time this article was written, with an average score 4.8. This broker might seem legitimate. It’s important to realize that these reviews are fake. The profile isn’t verified.
Trustpilot warned them that they were fake. Trustpilot also warned that the broker used bots and even its employees to create lies.
TBanque Range Investment Opportunities – Trading Instruments
Below is a list of TBanque’s assets, with examples.
- Forex currency pairs: EUR/USD. AUD/CAD. CHF/JPY.
- Indices – S&P500, DOW30, NIKKEI225…
- Commodities – natural gas, gold, copper…
- Stocks – Tesla, Samsung, Renault…
- Crypto assets – BTC, USDT, DSH, ETH…
- ETFs AMPL, AAXJ and AGG…
It seems endless. This list is not important if you don’t have a license or regulation. Even if the instrument is genuine, it doesn’t provide the security conditions necessary to allow you to safely trade them.
TBanque Fraud Risk Zones – Service Countries
After doing extensive research, we have compiled a list of countries where TBanque may find potential victims.
- Germany;
- Portugal;
- France.
Unfortunately, none of the three regulators have issued a warning about TBanque. It’s up you, us, and other reviewers, to press the financial market authorities into responding as the Russian central banking did. If you have information, please share it with us.
TBanque Accounts Overview
There are only two types of account:
- Retail account 10 – 10,000 USD (depending on where you are located).
- Professional account > 500,000 $
The latter type is said to have multiple perks, such as the ones we mentioned in the section about why it’s better for you to trade with a licensed broker.
This broker isn’t licensed and therefore we doubt that it can offer clients compensation. There is no limit to the leverage. TBanque claims that retail clients receive 1:30, while professional clients receive 1:400. But the truth is that the cap is at a staggering 1:1000. Imagine the catastrophic losses one would experience at this high level.
Spreads are unknown. Fraudsters advertise commission-free trading which is absurd.
Information about Demo Account
According to TBanque there is. It allows you to practice with 100,000 dollars. The platform was not available, so the demo account was useless. Despite all the above, we don’t believe TBanque would offer a valid demo account.
Promotions and Partners
To lure you even further into the scam, they may offer a partnership or affiliate program. These incentives are designed to convince you to either invest in the scam or to invite your friends to do so.
Fraudulent broker claims it sponsors many Serie A and Bundesliga soccer clubs. Perhaps in another world.
Withdrawals and deposits
The minimum deposit is dependent on the country where the trader is located. This is a very discriminatory policy. A US trader would have to pay $10 to open an account, while an Israeli trader would need to pay $10,000. Can you see how absurd that is?
TBanque lists a variety of payment methods:
- TBanque Money;
- Debit/credit card;
- Wire transfer;
- PayPal;
- Neteller;
- Skrill;
- Trustly;
- iDEAL.
Alarmingly, TBanque allows deposits of up to a certain amount without verification, but does not allow withdrawals. This means that you can pay without verification, but you won’t be able to withdraw any funds.
Chargeback Is Your Solution!
A chargeback is the retroactive cancellation and refund of a charge made using your credit card, wire transfer or some other payment methods.
By putting together a compelling chargeback strategy from beginning to end, victims of online fraud have a relatively high probability of recovering some of all of their funds lost.
However, using a trustworthy service such as MyChargeBack is critical in this endeavour as a typical chargeback process can often be complex and drawn out without the right guidance.
