As of May 2023, the broker (titan-cfd.com) has ceased operations. But you can read the article to avoid falling for similar scammers.

Is Titan FX a Scam Broker?

Absolutely. We can prove this by exposing the lies behind the small discrepancies at the bottom. Titan CFD claims that it is Vie Finance Ltd’s brand name, which is regulated by HBMC. It’s a hoax! This company is from Greece, and we found it. It operates under license number 4/792 of the HCMC.

Titan CFD also claims to have an Estonian address. This is a lot of lies. The broker, who is unlicensed and anonymous, is a fraudster.

Titan CFD, a fraudulent broker offering Forex trading and CFD trading, is unregulated. It claims to be based in Estonia and is targeting traders from France, Belgium, Italy, and Belgium.

Why it is better not to choose an unlicensed broker

Safety and security are paramount. You can trust a licensed broker to trade safely and fair.

This is how we talk about negative balance protection, leverage restriction, indemnification, segregation and segregation. These are just a few of the requirements that top European regulators like the FCA and BaFin, CONSOB or CySEC have to meet.

CONSOB Warning

Titan CFD is now dead. The stern Italian regulator CONSOB as well as the Estonian Finantsinspektsioon caught the financial swindler in his wrongdoing. The broker was placed on the long-running blacklist by authorities. We have declared Titan CFD dead.

What platforms does CFD offer? Trade Software

We were shocked to see that the scammer had created a “fully-regulated online platform for trading” upon entering the website. Although we’ve debunked the “regulated” part, what about the actual platform?

It turned out that the broker prevented us from seeing it. The broker claimed that there should have been a preview, but the website was down and there were no download links. We believe there is no legitimate platform other than a browser-based terminal.

Mobile Web Platform

It’s accessible via web browser and mobile phones as well, since it’s a web-based trading platform. Mobile trading was found to be less efficient than PC trading. This is mainly due to the smaller screen.

It could still be useful for quick adjustments, but we do not recommend trading with Titan CFD.

Web Platform

WebTrader is the name of the platform. It’s simple to use and scammers love it. Although it makes them appear legitimate, the platform is really quite lacking in advanced tools.

Unregulated brokers can also manipulate these platforms via the web to make it appear that they are trading, while actually taking money.

Titan CFD Range Investment Opportunities – Trading Instruments

Titan CFD is the main trader in CFDs when it comes to trading assets. Although there are Forex currency pairs, there aren’t any crypto assets. Here is a list of all the instruments. Titan is still illegal, so don’t be fooled by this list.

  • Forex pairs: EUR/USD. AUD/CHF. GBP/JPY.
  • Stocks – eBay, Pfizer, McDonald’s…
  • Commodities: crude oil, copper and aluminum as well as wheat…
  • Indices – IBEX35, WIG20, DOW30…
  • liETFs – iShares iBoxx & QQQ.

Titan CFD Fraud Risk Zones – Service Countries

It is our responsibility to find out where the fraudster broker operates its scheme. After some research, we compiled a list:

  • Italy;
  • France;
  • Belgium;
  • The UK.

Titan CFD’s website contradicts itself quite a bit. It first says that it does not accept UK clients, but then charges fees.

Similarweb.com revealed that the website of the scam broker was visited 1.1million times in October 2022. CONSOB responded to Titan CFD’s most active market in Italy.

Chargeback Is Your Solution!

A chargeback is the retroactive cancellation and refund of a charge made using your credit card, wire transfer or some other payment methods.

By putting together a compelling chargeback strategy from beginning to end, victims of online fraud have a relatively high probability of recovering some of all of their funds lost.

However, using a trustworthy service such as MyChargeBack is critical in this endeavour as a typical chargeback process can often be complex and drawn out without the right guidance.
